Rooms

Rooms are not included in the fee. However, if you stay at the Houston Medical Center Marriott, or the Hilton Houston Plaza/Medical Center, or the Holiday Inn - Medical Center, you can ask for the Rice University rate. Shuttle service will be provided from these hotels at the beginning and end of each day of the conference.

Transportation to and from the airport

You may wish to rent a car, as the conference location does not have access to good public transportation. For the purposes of booking travel, the conference location is roughly an hour and a half from the airport during rush hour, but only a thirty-five minute drive during off-peak hours.
